ARCHICAD is a BIM software program used by architects and drafting technicians to create, not just plans, but a 3D model of the project. this allows one to create an environment exhibiting every detail of the project, whether it is a home, a commercial project or a large-scale building. the model can be rendered as images or movies to create an impressive client presentation, all within the ARCHICAD program. it can also be exported into a movie-quality rendering program for exquisite renders. sketchup models can be imported into ARCHICAD and many 3D parametric objects, such as chairs and windows, can be imported from the internet. one can also create a 3D model from a CAD drawing, or even a PDF. the finished model can be placed on a photo of the future building site, without exporting an inage to photoshop. this program, and others like it, are the future of architecture.
